Pet Aging Chart
Many disease processes start very subtly and are not immediately recognizable. Early detection is our best weapon for successful management of many conditions.
Has your pet:
1) Lost or gained more than 5% of his/her body weight in the last year?
2) Has there been a change in your pet’s food or water consumption?
3) Does your pet have mouth odor or discomfort when eating?
4) Does your pet appear more withdrawn than normal or has his/her interaction with the family changed?
5) Has there been a change in your pet’s urination or defecation habits?
6) Does your pet appear stiff, hesitant to use stairs or lethargic?
7) Does your pet just seem really old all of the sudden?
Any of these symptoms could mean your pet is experiencing a number of very treatable conditions. Many of the treatments are easy to administer, affordable and add to the quality of life for you and your pet.
To encourage a senior wellness exam and assessment CCAH is offering a 20% discount on all laboratory work during the month of September.
